Srinagar, Apr 08 (KNO): National Conference Member of Parliament from Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, Mian Altaf Ahmad conducted a two day tour of various parts of Anantnag district to gain insight into the issues faced by locals.
According to a statement issued, MP Mian Altaf Ahmad conducted a two-day tour of various areas of Shangus, Kokernag, Bijbehara and Anantnag. During the visit, MP Mian Altaf met various people who apprised him about the issues and lack of pace of development in these areas.
As per the statement locals apprised him about the issues like lack of road infrastructure in many areas, non availability of proper irrigation facilities, lack of potable drinking water in some areas and healthcare facilities.
Upon hearing the grievances, MP Mian Altaf assured the people to bring their concerns and issues to the forefront for swift resolution besides all possible assistance as a Member of Parliament.
Meanwhile, MP Mian Altaf Ahmad after his tour has urged the government to pace up the developmental works in the areas and work to ensure that the grievances and day -to-day issues of the people are resolved on priority—(KNO)
